1) Vancouver's False Creek neighbourhood sits on the watefront and has its own community centre. it is east of Cambie Street Bridge and north of W. 2nd Avenue, consisting of 12 buildings , under construction or completed (as of 2012) that are not part of the olympic village condos.

There are few freehold condo buildings in Vancouver's False Creek because most of the land is leased from the City of Vancouver and either there is a monthly land lease payment or some owners have pre-paid the land lease. The leases expire between 2030-2040 and are renegotiable are various periods prior to that.
